The Village Artist our family brand
Welcome to our family online store.
Each piece of jewellery and artwork was handcrafted with love for our individual craft and art. We hope you will treasure each piece you buy, knowing that each piece of art has it's very own story.
Our print on demand line is an extension of our family's creativity and allows you to have your very own artwork printed.
Our beautiful printed Village Artist tote bags, mugs, coasters and placemats from our Vintage Rose Collection make gorgeous gifts.
As a Catholic Family we often found it difficult to source unique handcrafted Rosaries. Kim's crafted Rosaries have been inspired by her travels to churches in Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Russia. She makes one of a kind and limited edition Rosaries and accepts requests for commissioned and personalized work. Kim also repairs and painstakingly restores your old treasured Rosaries.
Finding beautifully painted statues and devotional items is a difficult task and the artists in the family have put together hand-painted and handcrafted Catholic devotional statues, shrines, paintings, canvas prints and other crafted Catholic treasures like mugs, Rosary boxes and tote bags for devoted Catholics. We plan to grow this collection during 2024.
Kim is a qualified Aromatherapist and is the creator of our hand crafted soaps and spa products, Soul Thyme.
Our family are big dog lovers and have expanded our offering to include our own handmade products and introduced Doobie Scoobes CBD products biscuits, oil and peanut butter for our aging fur babies.
Last but not least we bring you our Uncle, Barry Rhodes, an exceptionally talented painter who resides in the Eastern Cape. His collection of original artworks in acrylic paint, adorn the walls around the world in homes, in private collections and international corporate offices. We have expanded some of his works and added printed mugs, tote bags, coasters and placemats under the Barry Rhodes Collection. Prints of his paintings will also be available during 2024.
